Tariff Information for Jewelry Imports
Dear Valued Retail Partner
After careful consideration and seeing the negative impact of tariffs, we are reducing our tariff to 10%, August 25. Yes, we are being charged 25% on imports from India and possibly soon 50%, but the 20% tariff we added has led to our customers retracting purchases and proceeding with caution.
What we will not do is raise prices to hide the tariffs. Please be wary of your suppliers who hide the tariffs in the price of goods. Make sure they reduce your prices when tariffs are reduced.
Our approach has been fair, and we are at a point where we do not want your business to be adversely affected, so we will be absorbing this cost. Hopefully, with your support in orders, we can make up for this margin reduction with more volume and growth across categories.
Our Policy going forward:
- Anything shipped except quoted Forever Custom orders will have a 10% duty effective today.
- Forever Custom will be 20% until further notice from that Team.
If this proves unsustainable, we will revisit the policy. With your continued support across categories, together we can offset the margin impact through increased volume. The real dollar loss can only be offset through increased volume.
